As a Unitarian Universalist institution, Meadville Lombard is an intentionally pluralist learning community committed to furthering the transformative, justice-making potential of liberal religion.
We firmly believe justice-making and spiritual growth are bound together, and our curriculum design reflects it. We recognize leadership requires deep accountability in communities and prepare students to be effective leaders in our multiracial, multicultural world.
Meadville Lombard nurtures a unique learning community where leaders come together from many faith traditions, cultural contexts, and backgrounds to engage in what it means to work for justice in today’s world. And with our Contextual Learning model, students can attain quality theological education without having to relocate.
